Hi Everyone,
I have been dying to use my Forever Young cart and the Imagine as I thought the possibilities would be endless. Also, Forever Young is one of my favs. Here is a quick card that I just threw together. Can't wait until I have more time to play with it. Plus, I need more color option carts for my Imagine.
Here is the card...
Hope you enjoy....

Imagine That Wednesday @ MPS
Hi All,
Today, Robyn over at MPS posted her Awesome Imagine That project.
She has invited everyone to post their Imagine project, so here is mine..... Not too excited about how it came out, plus I kinda messed it up at the end but I am going to post it anyway.
While I really like it and I have been one of the fortunate ones who have not had any technical difficulties with it, I am not sure I like they way it cuts/prints the layers. I don't like the border around the images and I wish there were more options. I guess I just prefer the way the individual cuts look on the Expression so far. However, I do like how you can see what your project is going to look like and the color combo options. We shall see, I am going to keep playing with it and see what I can come up with.
Anywhooo....here it is.

3rd Birthday Card
Hi All,
Well, as usual, I waited until the last minute to make a birthday card for one of my daughter's classmates. The birthday party was at 12 PM and I started the card this morning. This should not seem like a hard task, but when you have a little 3 year old at home who likes to "help"....
Anyway, the little boy was having a firetruck at his party, so I came up with the brilliant idea to make a card with a firetruck (at the last minute). As I am new at this stuff, everything takes me a little longer that perhaps some of the more seasoned crafters. I did use my gypsy to prepare everything to be cut so that did help a lot! Love my Gypsy...wish I used it more.
Here is the card that I came up with. I actually was pretty pleased with the end result but wish I would have had more time as I would have blinged up the card a little bit more. Perhaps used some glossy accent on the jacket, hat, tires, ladder....maybe the whole darn card! LOL!
Details: Everyday Paper Dolls, everything cut at 4"(except water hose, water drop, head & fire hydrant), Sesame Street Font for #3, MPS Simply Sweet Occasions stamps, Cuttlebug, Faded Jeans Distressed Ink, Silver Pen & Embossing Ink Pad for ladder/wheels, Peachy Keen stamps (messed up a little when stamping but no time to fix it. I know....that's what happens when you wait until the last minute. :(
Hope you enjoy....Nicole

Imagine & Forever Young
Hey All,
One of my favorite carts is the Forever Young. I am so excited to see how all the different patterned papers/printing options on the Imagine work with the outfits on the Forever Young carts. I am hopeful that I will have some time this weekend to play with it. Not sure with bday parties and playdates, but I am going to try to find the time.
Looking forward to posting something new soon....

Karlee's Challenge over @ MPS
Hi All,
Here is my submission over at My Pink Stamper for her bestie's (Karlee) challenge using an envelope.
Not my greatest, but figured I would play along. Not enough time to really come up with something.

MPS 5 Million Celebration Post #2 - Challenge
Hi Everyone,
So here is my submission for My Pink Stamper 5 Million Celebration Post #2 - Challenge. I had to participate, as Robyn has been a huge part of my journey through this creative process. I have been inspired and learned so much about my Cricut from her blog and tutorials. I am truly Thankful for her hard work in inspiring/teaching us all through her blog.
I again used the Cricut Imagine. I am trying to play with as much as possible to make sure there are no issues with it. I have to say, so far I must be one of the lucky ones who got one without any problems. Although, my cut is slightly off but I will re-calibrate it and see what happens.
Anyway, here goes. I used the Imagine More cart and MPS Punnylicious stamps for this project. EK Success punch and Vintage Distressed Ink. Papertrey Ink cardstock.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #37/1st Cricut Imagine Card
Hi All,
I am entering my 1st Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge and I figured I would make my first Cricut Imagine card at the same time. I am excited and nervous to really get out there and share my work with others as I am still pretty new at this. I really like how this card came out, especially as I was creating at 11:30 pm last night after my daughter went to sleep and I finished watching the season premier of Law & Order: SVU.
Anyway, please let me know what you think of my card and I am always open to advice on how to create and make better projects. Thanks for looking.
Nicole.
Details: Imagine More cart for Frames, Nursery Tails for the frog, pond & grass, MPS Simply Sweet Occassions Stamps w/glossy accents, Diamond Stickles, iRock for bling, Papertrey Ink thread, Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl & Swiss Dots, Faded Jeans Distressed Ink

Aunt BJ Tag
Bird-Day
Here are two cards that I made for my good friend and my Aunt BJ. I used My Pink Stamper Punny-licious Stamps for the sentiment on the cards.
I have submitted these cards into the My Pink Stamper Anything Goes Challenge.

Cricut Imagine Update
Well after having to wait a couple days to play with my new Imagine, I am happy to report that my Imagine is up and running and I have not ran into any difficulties yet. It seems I am part of a fortunate few as there are lots of people who were not as lucky.
I will say that I have not been able to play with my Imagine that much and have only done a couple print/cuts because the 12x12 paper that I ordered to go with it is on backorder. I plan to run out tomorrow and buy some at Michaels or Hobby Lobby so I can play with my Imagine, see what it can do, make sure that it is really working fine and most importantly that I like it! (in case I need to send it back) LOL
I will say that what I have seen/done so far, I think I am going to really like the Imagine. Having to sit and cut different color cardstock to fit on my mat was always time consuming for me. I like that you can decide as you are selecting each thing on the Imagine and can see what it is going to look like before you print/cut.
Anyway, here is the very simple/basic cut that I did to go on top of a birthday present for one of my daughter's friends.
I also attached the card/envelope that I made for him. These were done on my expression.

Cricut Imagine/Cricut Circle
Hi All!
I am so excited, I just had to share. My new Cricut Imagine has arrived!!!! Yes, I am so excited. They told me it would arrive around the 23rd, but then I got the knock at the door from the UPS lady a few moments aga... :)
The sad part is I am too tired to open the box. Also, my craft room is not ready for the Imagine yet. Lots to do so I can check this baby out and see if it is worth the $500 before my 30 days are up at HSN. (Gotta love HSN) Although, I do know myself (the lover of gadgets) so I am sure it will wind up staying.
Also, I am now officially a member of the Cricut Circle! Woohoo!! We shall see if it is all that it is cracked up to be. :)
Later guys. Going to take a nap so I can have some energy. Plus I have a make and take this evening to attend. LOL

New Purchases
Hi All,
I am so excited and wanted to share my two new purchases. On Monday, I purchased iRock value pack for $14.99 and used my 50% coupon at Michaels.
I also had noticed on a lot of blogs that people were using this really cool punch on their Halloween projects. Although, I am not really into Halloween, I really liked this drippy goo punch. Well, while I was in Hobby Lobby on Monday, I saw the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo edge punch for $14.99 on sale with 40% off. Yay! I love sales so I had to buy it.
I made a Birthday card for my stepdaughter and decided to use my new punch. She is a Hello Kitty fan and I was inspired to use this image by Okieladybug who did a few Hello Kitty cards recently. Anyway, enjoy....

3rd Birthday Party Invitation
Hi All!
Wanted to share a photo of the invitations for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. They did not come out as I originally planned. My daughter and I were both sick the week that I started making the invitations and by the end I was just so happy to have something to give her friends, I didn't care what they looked like. Not to mention, I ran out of supplies, etc. and was also preparing for our trip to Los Angeles for a week. (I actually started asking myself why didn't I just buy a couple packs of invitations from Target - but I quickly pushed that idea aside). How could I justify the amount of money I spend on this hobby and NOT make my own invitations. LOL!
Anyway, here they are. Not perfect, but I got them done (25 of them) before we left for Los Angeles.
