Thank You Card 1 - SU Only

Hi Everyone!

Today's post is a card that I made without my Cricut.  Now that I am a SU demonstrator, I am trying to use my stamps more in addition to my Cricuts.

I really love the card that I made.  The colors are bright and fun.  Everything is Stampin' Up on this card.

I also entered them into these challenges:
Crafting with Christina - Cricutless/Stamping Projects
My Craft Spot Challenge #1 - Tie a Bow
Ambers Crafts & Stuff -  April Flowers
The Paper Variety - 1, 2, 3 Challenge  1 Button, 2 Brads (& 2 Patterned Papers) & 3 Layers of paper for the flower...

Baby Shower Card

Hi Everyone,

Here is a card I made for one of my mom's coworkers.  They are having a little baby girl and I thought this cut was so cute.  Especially, since I bought her a cute little outfit that kinda looks like the card. :)

I used New Arrivals cart and cut everything at 3.5".  All the papers/sentiments are from Stampin Up.

This is the card that I made for my mom to give her coworker.  Again the cuts are from New Arrival.  Papers are from SU and DCWV.  Of course I used stickles, stickles and more stickles!  What's a card without stickles, I ask?!

Anyway, sentiment is SU and face is Peachy Keen stamps.

Hope you like them.  Comments are welcomed!

CTO -Challenge #7 New House

Hey Everyone,

I am back again with my project for CTO Challenge # 7, which is to create a project with the theme New House.  Make sure you go to CTO to see what the other designers have created.  They are all so talented and I am sure you will be inspired to play along and link your own project for the challenge.

I decided to use the house from Mickey and Friends Disney cart.  I cut the house at 3.5".  The tree is from SYI.  I used several cuttlebug folders to add some texture to the house and tree!  The stamp is from PTI.

Please let me know what you think!  Make sure you play along and link your own project here.

Thanks for stopping by and remember that comments are welcomed~  :)

Angel Birthday Invite

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share some invitations that I made for my friend's daughter.  It is her 1st birthday and my friend picked the Angel from Once Upon A Princess.  I have been working on these in my free time for the past week...kinda hard with a 3 year old but I managed to get it done! :)  She helped me emboss the white layers so that was nice...and she really enjoyed helping mommy with her "work".  That's what I call it when I am crafting so that she will have a sense of the importance of NOT messing with Mommy's work or anything in Mommy's "office/scraproom".  In theory, it's a great idea but it does not work most of the time...LOL.  She is my biggest fan though and that makes me so happy!

Anyway, here are the invites.  Let me know what you think....

CTO Challenge #5 - New Arrival

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by to see my project for CTO challenge #5 - New Arrival (pet or baby).  I decided to try my hand at a waterfall card.  I saw one recently and thought they were pretty cool.  I got the directions from Splitcoast Stampers and it was actually pretty easy to assemble.  I made my cricut cuts from New Arrivals and tried to bling them up a little with stickles.

Make sure you join in on the challenge.  Would love to see what you come up with!  Click here to see what the rest of the DT has come up with and to submit your own project!!  :)

Thanks for stopping by and as always, comments are welcomed!

Cricut Circle Calling Card

Hey Everyone,

I did not post for the past couple weeks (because I was sick AGAIN! ugh).  Anyway, I did not get to share with you the calling cards that I created for the Cricut Circle Meet Up in Atlanta that happened last Friday. It was so awesome, meeting some cool fellow crafters, awesome make & take with Teresa Collins, Cricut updates from Shannon at Provocraft (she is hilarious), meeting Cindy Royal (DT) & Deanna (DT) and let's not forget the awesome giveaways (I love how they made sure everyone won at least one prize)!!!   They gave away an Imagine, Yudu, Several Your Story's, several Yudu Card Shops, gypsy sleeves, the new Cuttlebug system, new Cuttlebug embossing folders, quilling kit, etc....  Very nice.  I won a Yudu screen and Life's A Party cart.  They also had some cool stuff for sale.

It was tons of fun and I look forward to the next one that I can attend!  (Orlando is coming up and I hope I can swing it...plus I can meet some of the CTO DT)

Anyway, I digress....  I just wanted to share with you my calling card.  I needed to make 50 of them and I did not have a lot of time to come up with one, but I did like the way it ended up turning out (even tho I did not get to bling them up with my Diamond Stickles like I wanted).  I love this Rich Razzleberry cardstock from Stampin Up.  It is one of my new favs....

Let me know what you think!  As always, thanks for stopping by!

MPS Challenge - Spring

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is my entry for the MPS challenge for something Spring related.  Please make sure you go to Robyn's blog as Friday was her design team's Pinkalicious blog hop!

Anyway, here is the card that I made.  I finally updated my Imagine to work with my gypsy, so I am going to try to finally start using it more.  Today's card was made with Lori's Garden.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.  It is a simple card but I like how it turned out.  I love the little birdie!

Edited to say:  Not sure why my colors are off, but I used PTI Spring Rain for the card base and Kiwi Kiss for the layer.  It looks yellow on my computer but it is actually a soft green.  I will try to take another photo tomorrow during the day.

Thanks for stopping by!

Nicole

P.S.  Don't forget to Spring Forward tonight!!  :)

CTO - Challenge #3 Using Green, White & 1 Optional Color

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is for the CTO Challenge #3.  The challenge is to create a project using green, white and an additional color optional.  I chose to use an additional color, Stampin Up's Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and White.

For my card, I chose to make an A2 size card.  I punched (12) squares using 1 1/4" SU punch.  I then embossed each square using various cuttlebug folders.  I used some Diamond stickles to bling up the various squares.

I then cut two different flowers from Mother's Day Bouquet, one in Rich Razzleberry and one in Old Olive.  I also ran them through my Cuttlebug (Swiss Dots & d'Vine Swirl)

For the little purse, again the flower is cut from Mother's Day Bouquet.  The purse itself was cut from Forever Young at fit to page, which I believe ended up being around 5".  I took my white Ink Essentials pen and faux stitched the purse and the flower to give it a little pizazz.  I put a white brad in the center of the flower and punched holes on either side and used the Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon from SU to make the handle.  Love how this little purse turned out.  :)  I also like the color combination of the Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry.  I think I will use it to make my calling cards for this week's Circle Meet Up on Friday.  Yes, I have about 50 cards to make, I have not started and they have to be done by Thursday night.  Talk about waiting until the last minute....LOL  The story of my life!

Anyway, I can't wait to see what the rest of you come up with for the challenge.  Make sure to play along.  Click here to play along and to see what the rest of the design team have come up with!

Happy Crafting.....

Nicole
