Hi Everyone,
Today is Challenge #19 over at CTO with the theme of "Celebrating Summer" and you must use a sun. I decided to use A Child's Year cart for this project along with Accent Essentials. I saw this "sun" in the first issue of the Cricut Magazine (pg. 44) and had to recreate it. The butterflies are from a MS punch. Crushed Curry Cardstock is from Stampin Up, (this color is currently on sale for 1.49/pk on the clearance rack). Patterned paper, sentiment, ribbon and button are also from Stampin Up. I used some stickles for the ice cream and Vintage Photo Distressed Ink for my inking/distressing.
I hope you liked my Celebrating Summer fun project. Ice cream, sun and fun always seem to happen in the summer.... Make sure you click Here to see what the rest of our talented DT has created and to also enter your own Summer Fun project over at CTO and have a chance to be entered into the giveaway!

Operation We R Grateful - Challenge #1
Operation We R Grateful - Challenge #1
Thinking of You
Ok. So this is my last post of the day. I have to say, this is the most I have ever posted in one day! Whew! Well, I did challenge #1 last, which is a Thinking of You card. I used Gypsy Wanderings for the sentiment and I used PTI & Stampin Up cardstock/ribbon. The little flower is from Imagine Better Together. I did add a little i-Rock bling for the flowers. I hope it is ok. I guess I just could not make it through the whole day without ANY bling...lol
Well, I hope you Kassidy over at Inking it Up likes the cards that I made. I will be sending them out to her in the mail tomorrow. It feels good knowing that these cards are going to a good cause. I can't tell you how many cards I have sitting in a box. Knowing that this will hopefully brighten someone's day makes me feel Awesome!
Please click here to participate in this challenge! It is definitely a worthwhile cause!!
Thanks for stopping by!

This is my submission for challenge #7 over at Inking It Up. I had an extra flower that I had from some cards I made several weeks ago. The flower was cut from Mother's Day Bouquet. Sentiment again is from PTI. I am so proud of myself for completing this challenge and I am hopeful the troops will like the cards I made. I hope it helps to bring some joy to their life!

This is my submission for Challenge #4. I used my Imagine and Stampin Up Cardstock. I love the simplicity of this series of cards that I am making today. I do still miss my bling... This has been fun using my Imagine and I think I will try to use it a lot more in the coming weeks!
Thanks for stopping by! Would love to hear what you think of these challenge cards I am making today!

Happy Birthday
I have decided to participate in Operation We Are Grateful over at Inking it Up with Kassidy. This is where we make cards for our troops to show them they are appreciated. There are seven challenges in total. This is the first card that I have completed! Challenge #2 - Birthday.
I would have loved to bling my card up a bit, but it is requested that you not use glitter products as it does not hold up well during the travel to our troops. I did use a little glimmer mist just to add a little sparkle.

Bridal Shower Card
Hi Everyone,
Today I am sharing a card that I made for my co-worker's bridal shower party that we had at work. I make all the cards for the birthdays etc. Anyway, this card is for the same girl that I did her Save the Date and wedding invitations so I wanted to keep it in the same color scheme.
This is not an original idea and was actually inspired/"scrap-lifted" from the Cricut Circle Magazine June issue. I switched it up but it still looks very similar to the one in the Circle Magazine. I just had to use it as it fit the color theme of her wedding.
I am also entering this in the Wacky Wednesday Emboss It challenge....
Let me know what you think!

Emma's Thowback Thursday
Hey Everyone,
I decided to participate in Emma's Throwback Thursday today. It is to use one of the Cricut Lite carts and add some bling! If you enter you will have a chance to win her new set of stamps that are coming out very soon....plus there is an extra surprise that she is giving away. I only have one set of Emma's stamps and would love to win!
Anyway, I used the Twinkle Toes cart. This card did not come out how I wanted but I am going to roll with it. I was going to make a layout for my daughter as she just had her first ballet recital two weeks ago. However, I am still waiting for her photos to come back and I am just not sure what I want for the layout.
Anyway, here is my card. Not the greatest but I wanted to share it with you all! Let me know what you think!

CTO Challenge #17 - Father's Day
Hey Everyone,
Today's Challenge at CTO is to make a project with the Father's Day theme. My father passed away two years ago on May 8th. I still get a little sad during this time and takes a bit to get motivated to make cards.
Again, I decided to challenge myself and do something I have not done before which is to use my Your Story Photo. The funny thing is that I got a Your Story when I originally bought my Cricut a couple years ago and still have not used it. My sister recently bought me the new (tiny) Your Story photo and that's what I decided to use today.
I made a little photo book of pictures of my daughter and her father, thus the title "Daddy & Marley". I am not completely finished with this book and will continue to add embellishments, journaling, etc. to it over the next few days. I had to put it down and will go back to it with a fresh set of eyes. However, here are some photos that hopefully will give you some ideas or inspiration for your own Father's Day projects.
Make sure you check out the rest of the DT's projects as I am sure they are amazing and then come back to CTO and post your own projects to inspire us!
Wishing you a craftingly great day!

Wedding Invitations & Winner
Hi Everyone,
If you are looking for the CTO Pool Party Blog Hop, please click Here! It closes tonight at midnight!
Here are the wedding invitations that I made for a co-worker recently. I had to make 50 invitations. Below, here is a reminder of what the Save The Date looked like.....
This was my first time creating a wedding invitation (or a Save the Date for the matter). It was ALOT of work but I am really please with how things turned out. My co-worker was very pleased with the invitations, so that makes me very happy. Unfortunately, my pictures don't really do the invites justice...but hopefully you can get an idea of what they looked like.

The photo of the driftwood is a photo that the bride to be took at the beach where they are getting married.
This is the reply card, which has the same design from the Save the Date. Just without the Bling....
Now on to the Winner of the Pagoda Cart, selected by Random.org. #4
I am crafting and resting! Oh, eating also:) Thanks for a chance to win!!!

CTO Pool Party Blog Hop!
Hi Everyone,
The Pool Party Blog Hop is finally here!!! If you just came from Amy, then you are in the right spot. If you just stumbled upon this hop, make sure you click HERE to start at the beginning. CTO is hosting this hop and they are having a giveaway, as well as there will be lots of creative "pool" themed projects along the way and Awesome Blog Candy at each stop. You must hurry though, as the hop closes on Sunday!
For my project, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone by not only using my Imagine but also creating a layout. This is only the second layout page that I have ever created and I am trying to get back to my original intention when I bought my first cricut.
I used Enjoy The Seasons Imagine cart for the majority of the layout and my E2 American Alphabet cart for the words. I created layers/inked the edges to create some depth, stickles to add some bling, cuttlebug to add some texture and Glossy Accents to add shine to the pool, sunglasses and hot dogs! I hope you like my layout. Let me know what you think...
So on to my blog candy! I am giving away.....a current stamp set of your choice from Stampin' Up ($25 or less). You decide, I will order and ship to you... Must be shipped to a US address.
Make sure you leave a comment to be entered for my blog candy. You do not have to be a follower, but I would love it if you were! :) If I get a bunch of new followers, I may even do two giveaways!! What do you think?! Anyway, have a great weekend & I hope you enjoy the hop!
Your next stop is Amber.
Happy Crafting....Nicole T.
