It's Here!!

Hello Everyone,

I must share my excitement with everyone!  My new E2 has arrived today! I am so excited!!  Unfortunately, I wan not able to play with it as today was the Spring Fling at my daughter's school.  Then when I got home, I needed to catch up on my CTO blogging.  Tomorrow I hope to play with it a little.  I did get to take it out of the box and it seems to take up a little less space on my crafting table.

To justify this purchase, I have decided to sale one of my Expressions and a Gypsy that I have won to hopefully pay for it...  I am selling the Gypsy on ebay and I am hoping it will go well because it does have Smiley Cards on it.  It has never been used and only opened to download the cart on the gypsy during the Provocraft promo.  We shall see...I find myself cringing at the thought of getting rid of my Cricut....but am I am going to do it!  I do not need that many machines.  Like my cards tho...I find it hard to part with them...Crazy, I know...LOL!

Sorry, I  have been MIA lately.  Things have been a little hectic.  I was working on Save the Date cards for a coworker (I will post tomorrow) and there have been a lot of storms here...so I have not been able to craft the way I would like.  However, I do have a few projects to post so stay tuned.  I will also give you my honest feedback on the E2 like I did with my Imagine.  (which I still hardly use...still not sure if I like it but I need to make more of an effort to use it...)

Anyway, stay tuned.  I hope to have time to craft soon.  It is going to be hard as I do have wedding invites to do now but I can't wait to play with the E2.  I think it is going to make my crafting go a lot easier without having to dig through my carts for the overlays, books and carts....  We shall see...maybe this is just another thought that I came up with to justify buying the E2! I know, I know....  :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Challenge #11 - Mother's Day

Hey Everyone,

Todays challenge over at CTO is to create something for Mother's Day.  Unfortunately, I have been so super busy lately, this is the first card that I have created and Mother's Day is right around the corner.  I will say that it did get my creative juices flowing so hopefully there will be more to follow.

I made this card using Mother's Day Bouquet.  I cut 3 different flower styles to create this flower.  All papers are from Stampin Up and PTI.  I inked the edges with Vintage Distressed Ink.  Ribbon, Button & Punch is from Stampin Up.

Hope you like.  Make sure you head over to CTO and play along!!

As always, love to hear from you on what you think!

Thanks so much for stopping by....

Sympathy Cards - SU

Hey Everyone,

Today's post is two sympathy cards that I made for my mom to give to our relatives who have lost someone (extended family).  I am really please with how the cards turned out.  On the second card, I used Stampin' Up Watercolor Wonder crayons along with the SU blender pen.  After I finished blending it in, I used stickles over the flowers to give it a little bling.  This is only the second time I have colored in my stamps and I really like how it came out!  All materials are from Stampin' Up!.

Let me know what you think....
